I just bought a used Panasonic L1, mostly for the wicked Leica lens, but I've always been a fan of the idea behind the camera; the retro styling, the analog aperture and shutter speed controls, the bounce function on the on-board flash. The thing is, I've really gotten accustomed to my E-500, and I like it quite a bit! This is one of the test shots I took with the L1.
As it stands right now, I'm thinking of sticking with the E-500. It's lighter, more comfortable to hold, I have an external flash anyway, and I've gotten very comfortable with the digital aperture/shutter speed controls anyway. Still, the L1 is a very nice camera. Make me an offer!

Crosswalk
By my apartment on Dundas St. The sun provided a pretty cool backlight effect at it's 3:30 angle. Finally had a nice sunny weekend day in Toronto, seems like we've been waiting forever!

Lonley Tricycle B&W
Took this photo on the way home from the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern after seeing Evan Dando during the NXNE festival. It was 4-ish in the A.M. and there's this tricycle, in the middle of a crosswalk, not even on the sidewalk! Really odd, so I figured I'd take a picture. I wonder what happened to the kid who owns it...
